Tamar Vashakidze, Founder and General Assembly Member of BRIDGE, is an international development professional specialising in gender equality and women’s rights. She brings over nine years of experience in gender programming, research, analysis and mainstreaming, including transposing gender frameworks in diverse disciplines and delivering capacity building trainings in Georgia, wider South Caucasus, Central Asia and Middle East; Areas of expertise include project design, management, research, policy analysis, monitoring & evaluation, advocacy, communications, capacity building, strategic planning, grants management. Tatia holds B.A. in Law from Tbilisi State University and LL.M degree in Democratic Governance & Rule of Law from Ohio Northern University. Tatia currently serves as the Regional Gender Coordinator for Middle East & Commonwealth of Independent States (MECIS) at Oxfam GB.
