Waste Management Training
18th of September 2020 BRIDGE-Innovation and Development together with Georgian Environmental Organization “CENN” organized training for Alaverdi and Argokhi women’s cooperative members on waste management. The meeting was remarkable for women because they had an opportunity to talk about common problems and put forward recommendations for Akhmeta municipality officials on allocating designated territory for construction garbage.
On the same day, in the framework of Caritas Poland funded project “Business to Business”, BRIDGE-Innovation and Development organized an introductory meeting between two local partners, Day Care Centre ” MEDINA 2015” from Pankisi gorge and Alaverdi Women’s cooperative - “Alaverdi Blue”. “MEDINA 2015” members, both beneficiaries and teachers showcased various types Pankisi Khinkali preparation process. During the degustation women from 3 villages talked about the richness of Kakhtian, Tusheti, and Pankisi cuisine and potential cooperation, next meeting point in Argokhi were planned. The day was very pleasant and memorable for everyone who participated, as such gatherings are very rare in rural life.
